With the ads on TV for prescription medications, they're also required to disclose side effects. This is often a long list, read really fast, and often seems to include some of the very symptoms that the meds are supposed to treat. This has even become the butt of jokes (except of course for the folks negatively effected)
But the latest one I heard yesterday was something like "... tell your doctor about increases urges including .... gambling ...". This was for a medicine to treat Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS).
Gambling is a side effect now? And not even an Ambien ad. Weird.
